New Jersey student causing trouble, what the school should be doing and why

Columbia Middle School students have been going through a rough time recently. A currently unidentified male student uploaded a video from a school shooting that happened years ago, on the app Vine*. It lead some people to believe it was live footage and some 911 calls were made. The school and police has been “investigating the situation” but it doesn’t seem like the school cares as much as the concerned people. They feel that if it was footage from years ago, that he might have just uploaded it for views and popularity on the app. But that might not totally be the case. Was it a threat? He’s a middle schooler, and just recently made his account. And apparently this boy has been troublesome in the past.

Nobody really knows what the caption was on the post, or what the video was, because either him or Vine took down the video after it was uploaded. Maybe a day or two after. And he didn’t have that many loops* when it was taken down.

Enough about the social media, I want to write this blog about what the school is doing and what has already happened. The school superintendent wrote an apology/update letter to the school website, addressing it to all Columbia students. Saying how she isn’t able to reveal specific details, but only let them know the situation is being taken care of. She voices her concern about rumors, and how the truth about this whole situation can be twisted. In time, everything should be handled. On the news site where I read about this, it said that some students were targeted from the video, and it was to make fun of them. Now that is also a rumor. It is nice to know there wasn’t a school shooting at such a nice middle school, but concerning as to exactly why this student uploaded the video in the first place.

My thoughts go out to Columbia Students, and any citizens affected by this twisted Vine video.

*Vine: A video sharing app, videos can only be 6 seconds long. Used for mostly comedy, and sometimes time lapse photography.
*loops: how many times that certain Vine was watched.r

Why You Shouldn’t Hate Justin Bieber

I’m sure many of you have heard of Justin Bieber, and maybe even some have a very deep feeling of hatred for him. But being one of his fans for about 5 and a half years now, I obviously don’t agree with you. I mean sure you don’t have to like his music, or his social media posts, or his opinions, but I doubt each and every one of you haters out there have personally met him. You can make up crazy stories and lies of how you’ve met him, and he paid no attention to you, or how he was very self centered and quiet and rude, BUT that rarely happens. With very big stars like him, (Ariana Grande, Drake, Zayn, Taylor Swift) people make up the same exact stories. You’ll see a story about Justin Bieber and his hatred towards fans, then you’ll read the exact same article, word for word, but the name changed to Ariana Grande. The media completely over exaggerates and lies about a ton of situations. Most of it is based off of fake tweets and hate accounts that have tens of thousands of followers.

For Example, Perez Hilton, the famous Hollywood Gossip Blogger who has a ton of different opinions.

I mean sure, it is a gossip bloggers job to, well, gossip. But without having sufficient evidence, or, doing it right on the spot following what other people say ISN’T. Recently the Biebs was eating in a restaurant, and fans found him and were recording him. After a few minutes his buddy was talking to him, he gets up, flips the chair, and walks away. Now, people accusing him of hating his fans wasn’t the right thing to do, even if it was true or not. Justin cleared things up on Twitter, stating that his buddy told him some bad news. And if we rewatch the video it actually looks like that happened. But for some reason, the people just couldn’t stop there. Thousands of bloggers carried on their same story, same thoughts, same accusations. Perez Hilton for example, saying Justin was “throwing another fit”. It seems like Perez is a little bit obsessed. He even has his own tab on his blog about Justin. In one blog, he loves Justin and thinks hes the sweetest thing ever! And then in another post, he calls him a mean name, and in some other ones “the baby is back”. Perez, please chill with our Justin.

Justin Bieber loves his fans, and deeply appreciates how far we’ve gotten him. Do you really think that he would purposely neglect us, or treat us like farm animals? No, he really wouldn’t. He’s such a kind person, and really loves all of us Beliebers. Over the weekend, he followed over 3000 of us on twitter, and he and Scooter (his manager) DM-ed some I believe. With the whole chair situation, Justin DM-ed the liars and told them how he wasn’t the fit throwing monster they put him out to be. And, cleared things up with them. And soon after he turned into a laughable moment with his fans. See? Perfectly fine, and mature.

Another thing Justin always does is visit his fans that are in the hospital. He’s visited babies, and most importantly the little girls with cancer and other diseases. It’s so sweet to see how their faces light up when they see him, and how happy he gets. He’s really great with them and knows how to make them smile. He really does live up to his title as the nicest guy in Hollywood. He’s always giving back.

Just the other day Justin’s new album, Purpose came out, and it is some of his best work. It sounds absolutely amazing, and he collabs with really great artists. His other albums are really great also, but this one was a huge hit. It seems like we were counting down the days for “What Do You Mean” just yesterday, but it’s almost been 3 months. We’ve been waiting 3 years for an album, and it’s finally here. People are saying certain songs are better than other songs, or this song stinks and that song doesn’t. But before you listen to them, listen to the full album! You can buy it for 12.99 on iTunes, or download Spotify and listen to it for free!  DISCLAIMER: I am not being payed to promote Spotify or Justin’s album!

All of you haters need to remember, Justin is a person too just like us, and just because he’s famous, doesn’t mean he isn’t human. He has a huge heart, and all of you need to realize that he doesn’t hate you, and there’s no reason for you to hate him.

DIY Pink Vanilla Coconut Body Scrub

DIY Pink Vanilla Coconut Body Scrub

Want to get smooth and toned skin? Just by using simple, cheap ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, you can!

Ingredients:

-1 Tablespoon of Room Temperature Coconut Oil

-2 Tablespoons of ground Pink Himalayan Sea Salt (Or regular Sea Salt)

-3 or 4 drops of Vanilla Essential Oil

-1 Teaspoon of Sugar

1/2 Drop of Vitamin E Oil

Mix all the ingredients together, to achieve this very helpful scrub. You can use on your hands, arms, legs, and feet. DO NOT use on your face!

This body scrub will help nurture your skin, keep it healthy, and smooth.

How does it work?

-When you use this, the exfoliating granules in the scrub will remove all dead skin, and helps to prevent dry skin.

-The rubbing action helps to boost circulation, and drain out your lymph nodes. (Keep the blood flow smooth and healthy, and prevent your skin from getting wrinkly/droopy)

You should not use body scrub on your face, because the granules are harsh on your skin so it can get red, itchy, and be very irritating. The pores on your face are very sensitive, so this scrub can make them prone to blackheads/acne. It is meant to keep the blood flowing and your skin smooth and moisturized.
This is my favorite scrub, and it leaves your skin smelling and feeling great! Hope this helped!

I personally tested this scrub, and it works great!

My DigiFest 2015 Experience

June 7th 2015 was a day many New England fangirls and fanboys looked forward too, thinking it would be just as they advertised it; Meeting your idols, Experiencing the best concert of your life, and all packed together in an amazing venue. But no, many experienced just the opposite. Being one of those people, I decided to share my bittersweet experience and the pros and cons of DigiFest. I arrived promptly at 10 AM thinking the doors would open at 12ish just outside of the Palladium. Just as Jack Dail, The Dolan Twins, and Carter Reynolds ran past my car being chased by crazy teenage girls, I thought it was going to be the best day ever. I got out and over to my left I saw my friends, and went to go stand with them. We waited about an hour or so, before we spotted our first celebrities, and being those very very dedicated fans we just started running to them. (Jack G, Jack J, and Hayes Grier) They got in their car which many girls tried to climb into. The security literally started grabbing them (by their hair, shoulders, whatever they could grab) and dragging them away. I was one of those girls but luckily security didn’t get to me because I was smart and backed away. That was just a short burst of excitement.
About 30 minutes after that, they started driving in the shuttle buses with EVERYONE on the lineup. (I have attached that below so you can view it.) Or, mostly everyone. Many of them didn’t even show up because they were “sick” or weren’t able to make it. Some just didn’t even care to drive or take a plane down to Logan Airport. We all got back into our spots, and tried to get closer to the front of the line. Everyone was piled onto the sidewalk, and I was stepped on, pushed, and even pinched once.  The people inside the shuttles were recording for their Snapchat Stories, Instagram, Twitter, whatever they could post it to, and we all were screaming their names so they could get our attention. Obviously, after that day, I lost my voice. So all the guests were loaded in, and some even came out of the building to take pictures with us. A HUGE thanks to the staff at the palladium for holding me back against my will! So I headed back to my spot in line. We waited 6 more HOURS before we got in, obviously way after the assigned time. At about 5:45 the show started, and I can say that I really did enjoy it. I know that all the VIP Meet and greets + the After Show meet and greet was cancelled, and people wasted thousands of dollars just so they could be spit on. This event was very unorganized, but I know that they made changes. Toronto, and the Texas Digifests had an amazing time so I am not trying to hold you back from going but what I am saying is Digi sugarcoats their events, and exaggerates them. They don’t reveal what actually happened, just the good parts. So, by reading this I hope most of you see what actually happened and aren’t confused by all the twitter rants or anything else.
